CLOUDFLARE TURNSTILE

To distinguish human visitors from bots, Cloudflare Turnstile processes a limited set of technical signals, such as:
- IP address
- TLS fingerprint
- User Agent header (browser and device information)
- Sitekey and the associated website origin
Cloudflare cannot directly identify individuals from these signals.
Cloudflare acts in two roles when providing Turnstile:
- As a data processor, when it processes these signals on our behalf to secure our website. For this processing we are the data controller, and our legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the website from fraud, abuse and automated attacks.
- As a data controller, when it processes the same signals to improve and refine its own bot detection technology. For this processing Cloudflare is responsible under its own privacy policy and relies on its legitimate interest.
